Annular BOP (spherical/conical)

1、Under the supporting use of the hydraulic control system, when there are drilling tools in the well, the annular space of different sizes can be closed; When there is no drilling tool in the well, the annular space formed by kelly, coring tool, cable, wire rope, etc. and the wellbore can be completely enclosed. With the cooperation of pressure reducing and regulating valve and buffer accumulator, the snubbing operation can be carried out through 18 degree butt welded drill pipe without fine thread.

2、Working principle of annular blowout preventer The annular blowout preventer is operated by the hydraulic control system. When closing, high pressure oil enters the lower closing chamber of the piston from the oil port in the middle of the housing, pushing the piston upward, and the piston cone extrudes the rubber core. Due to the limitation of the top cover, the rubber core can only be squeezed to the center of the wellhead if it cannot go up, until the drilling tool is tightly held or the wellhead is completely closed to achieve the purpose of well sealing. When the well needs to be opened, the directional valve of the hydraulic control system shall be operated to make the high-pressure oil enter the opening chamber on the upper part of the piston from the upper oil port of the housing, push the piston downward, relieve the pressure in the closing chamber, eliminate the squeezing force acting on the rubber core cone, and the rubber core gradually resets under its own elastic force to open the wellhead.

The annular blowout preventer is divided into two structures according to the rubber core structure: conical rubber core and spherical rubber core:

A、Structural features of conical rubber core annular blowout preventer:

⑴ The rubber core and HTDRIL are completely interchangeable.

⑵ The wear-resistant belt protection is added to the original structure to prevent and improve the cylinder pulling phenomenon caused by the eccentric load of the piston.

⑶ The lifting ring is partially reinforced and can be used to lift the BOP stack as a whole. ⑷ The clamping block connection mode is adopted, which is convenient for disassembly and replacement of rubber core.

B、Structural features of spherical rubber core annular BOP:

⑴ The rubber core and the shaffer are completely interchangeable.

⑵ The wear-resistant belt protection is widened on the original structure, which can prevent and improve the cylinder pulling phenomenon caused by the eccentric load of the piston.
