Manual plug valve

The valve core of the cylindrical plug valve is a cylinder, which is matched with the cylindrical surface of the valve seat to form a cylindrical sealing pair. Generally, four sealing methods are often used for cylindrical plug valves, namely, using sealant, expanding the valve plug, using O-ring seal, and using eccentric plug to wedge the valve seat seal ring.

The valve core of the conical plug valve is a cone, which is matched with the conical hole surface of the valve seat to form a conical sealing pair. The leakage clearance between the sealing pairs of the conical plug valve can be adjusted by pressing the valve core deeper into the valve seat. When the valve core is in close contact with the valve seat, the valve plug can still rotate.
